Pleurotus Eryngii

The eryngii, also known as the king mushroom, has a rich, umami flavour and a firm, meaty texture. This mushroom grows in clusters at the base of trees and we grow them under controlled conditions to ensure the highest quality. Eryngii have thick stems and small, brown caps. They are often used in stir-fries, grilled dishes and pastas because of their juicy texture and ability to absorb flavours. Their firm texture makes them ideal as a meat substitute in vegetarian and vegan dishes.
